Microsoft | Next Challenge: Help us make the future of body cleansing more exciting |
Attracting and retaining interns and employees is a substantial investment. Technology employers are particularly sensitive to their return on investment. Unfortunately, many employers utilize methods to measure the feelings and opinions of employees, interns, and candidates with scheduled surveys that are insufficient to capture honest, raw feelings in real time.
Your challenge is to design a software application that enables employers to hear and act upon group and individual expressions continuously. The client, Microsoft, wants to solicit emotional data and opinions continuously to understand the antecedent conditions of two states: 1) “Considering all my options, Microsoft is the top choice for where I want to work,” 2) “The experience of working at Microsoft has been positive for me.”
Submit one or more of the following:
1) A brief design document explaining the architecture, core features, and content of the application
2) Mockups of the UI and a narrative of hypothetical user experiences
3) Several paragraphs on how to leverage the application to improve employee attraction and retention.
