Marriott International | Next Challenge: Calling US solvers - How do you shop for auto insurance online? |
Marriott recently opened its first property in Milan under the new Moxy brand. Moxy is a fresh, contemporary, and minimalistic approach to hospitality.
To open up the space and keep things simple, the guest rooms don't have enclosed closet space. Instead, there is a series of hooks on the wall to hang clothing, purses, belts, etc.
In addition to the hooks we'd like to offer a single "hanging apparatus" to serve our guests' hanging needs. Think about the installation as functional art that is both memorable and user-friendly.
Submit a mockup or sketch of the piece we should provide our guests. Include a description of how you expect your apparatus to be used to hang clothing.
Criteria:
We're looking for a style that matches the modern and clean aesthetic of the hotel. Our pillars are Thoughtful, Spirited, and Fun.
Think creatively about what people might want to hang and how the hanger would look in context. It could be hanging from a single hook, anchored to the ground, hanging from the ceiling, etc.
Avoid any ideas that include shelves or drawers. Your design must hang clothing, not store it!
