United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) | Next Challenge: Help us make the future of body cleansing more exciting |
United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) is a financial institution that serves the needs of the United Nations staff, UN Specialized Agencies, former international civil servants and their families globally. Our members are located in over 200 countries and territories.
In the past five years, smaller companies have launched services that focus on a specific financial product (e.g. wire transfers, peer-to-peer transfers, saving and investing). These niche start-ups are attracting younger customers away from traditional banks and credit unions.
Describe a persona and specific use case where UNFCU could differentiate itself from these start-ups and attract millennials. Specifically submit:
1. A description of your persona (location, age, gender, etc)
2. The financial product/service this person cares about most, and why (avoid student loans)
3. Highlight a start-up with products/services that address the use-case you cited in #2
4. Explain what UNFCU could do (marketing, product development, or other methods) that would make the credit union a better alternative to the start-up’s offering.
Note: Spend most of your time on deliverable #4. Deliverables #1-3 only require a few sentences.
