I am writing to express my interest in the Career Advancement Program for consulting at Deloitte that was posted on the company ‘s career’ website. I believe that this job would fit my qualifications perfectly and will allow me to hone my technical and communication skills and develop an expertise in the consulting field, a field that I always aspired to be in.

I was fascinated by the world of Finance and the complexity of financial markets that are affected by geopolitical and macroeconomic developments. I wish to follow my siblings’ path and enter the world of Finance at this world-class financial institution.

By way of background, I just completed an internship in the Finance Department of Deloitte, in Lebanon. During my internship, I was given the chance to work on the auditing of the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), as well as Louis Vuitton company, among others. I was put in direct contact with our clients and with the guidance of my teammates, I was able to perform an end of the year adjustment of the financial statements and issue a full audit report of the companies in question. I was able to grasp a much deeper analysis of the projects work in a team and with clients and develop my problem solving skills.

In June 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the American University of Beirut. In addition to the main Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, I took engineering courses such as Electric Circuits and C++ Programming.

In June 2014- August 2014, I completed a Summer Exchange Program at the University of California in Berkeley. This experience taught me how to be independent and sociable and gave me a sense of confidence. Living abroad and leveraging off different cultures was very inspiring, and being fluent in three different languages contributed to a smoother exchange of ideas between nationalities.

My long-term career goal is to become a successful consultant within Deloitte, maintaining its high-profile, benefiting its clients and acquiring an impressive skillset. With the ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environment, I am well positioned to hopefully exceed your expectations and help my future team achieve its goals.
