Intern Production
I am writing to express my interest in the Fall 2015 production internship with “World News Tonight with David Muir.” Currently, I am a senior at Rutgers University double majoring in Journalism and Media Studies and History. As a hard-working, determined student with a passion for broadcast journalism I believe this internship is the best place to develop and expand my journalism skills.
Over my past two years at Rutgers I’ve maintained a 3.8 GPA while being actively involved with the Rutgers radio station and the National Association of Black Journalists. My journalism coursework and position at the radio station have helped me work under tight deadlines, develop an eye for detail, and work as a team. Additionally, my job as a server has taught me how to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. These skills will make me a great asset to your company. Interning alongside David Muir, who is an Edward R. Murrow and Emmy Award winning journalist, and his team is the best place to further hone my skills
