I have worked as a business analyst in the Insurance domain and have interacted with multiple stakeholders and ensured a smooth and timely delivery. My work involved requirements gathering, performing gap analysis and creating functional specification documents to ensure smooth design and development. I was also involved in the user acceptance testing phase to ensure that client deliverables met quality standards. Thus I was involved in the entire project execution phase which allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the various functions. My post graduation degree in finance has given me an idea of various concepts and their application in practical problems. I have worked in the Credit Risk Management team during my summer internship and performed a gap analysis of the credit risk management procedures (Preparation of Credit Approval Memorandums) across Asia and EMEA regions to identify a standardized procedure to ensure legal,regulatory and auditory compliance. Strategy and Consulting have always intrigued me and I have done a couple of consulting projects with Accenture and Zenesys Consulting to get a practical understanding of the consulting field. I believe this job will give me the opportunity to hone my skills and learn all the nuances of the field. I have strong analytical and communication skills and would like to be a part of a global firm like this which helps professionals like me grow and prosper.
