I have built my experience in variety roles and industries from the Front Line to Back End Operations, both in financial and non-financial companies.

Previously, with a Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management, I interned at Swissotel The Stamford, Front Office as well as worked in Carreyhill Events Pte Ltd as an Events Executive. They equipped me with strong interpersonal communication skills and how to handle difficult situations. Having the experience working in a team with various people from different countries, and I believe it will let me adapt to new working environments and communicate well from all social and cultural backgrounds.

Graduating from University of London, Bachelor of Science (2^nd Upper Class Honours) in Banking and Finance, togetherwith the vast experience as a Custody Executive in Singapore Exchange Limited, it trained me to be even more meticulous, fast, and detailed in my work, be it manual processing or projects.

Some of my recent projects involves ensuring that the given information complies with the AML requirements before crediting/debiting of shares, and analyzing the possibility of Custodian to safekeep share certificates with the Share Registrar instead of our Custodian Bank, keeping in line with the Company’s Act. I made meticulous effort to ensure that all areas are covered and everything is accounted for, and assist my manager to test out possible AML platforms for AML checks.

I’m very interested to be given the chance to learn about Risk and Compliance in your company, and being a quick learner and organized person, I believe I am able to learn new systems and skills fast for application to various work situations. I have plans to take my CFA Level 1 in 2016 as part of my plans to widen my knowledge and experience in different areas within the finance industry.
