Sample cover letter for Full Time position at AIA
Financial Planner
GOT THE JOB? Yes
During my summer internship at AIA, the interns at our department were tasked with creating two presentations to prepare and exhibit, we were given a deadline of an hour to complete one presentation. The first presentation was based on the question ‘What is Wealth Management?’ and the second question ‘When do you start retirement planning?’ In both presentations, we were allocated to work in groups of 3 and were set a minimum presentation time of 15 minutes. As most of the employees at AIA were Chinese we conducted the presentations in Cantonese which made the preparation and the presenting of our topics more of a challenge for myself. The presentations were recorded and assessed by several managers of the department in which they would gauge whether or not an individual could continue into phase 2 of the AIA programme. At the end of the internship, they asked if I had an interest in progress to this phase. In order to complete the presentation effectively, I assigned different presentation sections to each member of our group clarifying that we should each spend 5 minutes on our sections, making sure that every aspect of the presentation including articulation, content and timing came across as charismatic and exhibited that we had a firm apprehension of the task.
