My education in IT and information systems combined with my hands-on experience in different organizations will make me a proven asset of Bloomberg group. My foundation is as a developer, in multiple languages, on many platforms. If the situation requires getting code done, I deliver high quality, clean, working code, quickly and correctly. I am comfortable with structured code, databases, OO programming and “specialty” languages such as might be found in workflow or business rule systems. I have every confidence that to the extend the position requires actual coding, I can sling code with the best.

To the extend the position requires analysis of business rules and processes, I have specific experience in two main areas that are closely related. On the business side, I closely worked with business clients to understand project requirements and define project scope. In that capacity, I was responsible for extracting functional requirements from end users, and translating those requirements into detailed requirements. On the technical side, I lead the requirements definition and acted as a liaison between the technology team and business customers.

On a more general level, I believe I bring the broad “soft” skills you can have confidence in with a candidate that will represent Bloomberg to your customers.
