I am writing to you regarding Risk Management Analyst position in Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan. I hold a Master’s degree in Risk Management, and have working experience in the Coal Mining Industry. The 6 months I spent in mining have indeed been a very valuable experience personally.

The milestone of my experience was being given the responsibility to develop and implement a new management system for the company , and being able to deliver in the end. Through the new management system, I have become part of company ‘s newfound growth. Furthermore, exposure in the mining industry and being able to utilize my Risk Management and analytical skill through the various projects, it has been beneficial and eye-opening experience, which has helped me grow as an employee.

I feel that LPS highly suits my current situation as a Risk Management and Public Policy graduate. I want to apply my discipline and knowledge in the mining Industry into LPS. I am also excited with the fact that I can achieve my long-term goal if I join LPS. My long term goal is to become a prominient policy maker in the government as my father has carve his career in the Central Bank. 

Furthermore, the key skills I have gained will also benefit the company as follows:

 Communication: Being rotated throughout different divisions means that exemplary communication skills will be an advantage. Adaptability throughout the rotation period is also essential as it promotes learning and networking.

Project and Teamwork: Experience in projects promises a keen eye for detail, and respect for deadlines. This key skill set will benefit the company through effective and efficient work on projects, and ease in developing and managing relationships between team members whilst having the ability to resolve any conflict that arises.

Risk Management: Deep understanding of Enterprise Risk Management, which was practically use throughout my work to evaluate risk from external and internal. Able to perform risk evaluation and analysis, implement and plan the in-house audits, make risk analysis reports, and analyze and review different program in place. I have the knowledge to handle statistical data and translate that into risk profile, which can be turn into qualitative risk analysis

Strategic Management: Having a helicopter view on the corporate issues and development to identify strategic steps to be develop. The analysis was later to be used as the corporate strategy and was translated into strategic initiative and Key Performace Indicator for the long term growth of the business.
