I would like to apply for the position of strategy analyst as recently advertised on the Accenture Careers vacancy board.

My economics studies at the University of Sussex and at the London School of Economics and Political Science have provided me with an in depth understanding of economic theories. It enabled me to apply economic knowledge through research opportunities. In fact, one of my key achievements was to receive the Junior Doctoral Research Bursary from the University of Sussex. I investigated the impact of sexual orientation on income disparities in the UK by using Ordinary Least Square estimation. I found statistical significant result that lesbian women experience pay premium compared to their heterosexual counterpart, I suggested that one of the main reasons is because lesbian women do not normally experience career interruption such as maternity leave as opposed to their heterosexual counterpart. I served as president for the Economics society while studying at the University of Sussex; I was responsible in leading the society and coordinating activities within the student union policy and procedures. My work experience as restaurant manager for an Italian restaurant chain gave me the possibility to develop administrative and leadership skills in a business environment. By implementing an advertisement strategy based on the key characteristics of the restaurant such rooftop dining experience and live music with bands. The restaurant increased its profit by 25% compared to the year before. Also, I worked as assistant in a private business consultancy office in Italy. I worked directly with clients of small and medium enterprises; my role was to understand issues that arise from day-to-day business operation of the clients and forming solutions in order to help the business owners to solve the problems. I have learned how to address problems and the various ways to recommend solutions.
