Asset Management
Dear Sir or Madam,
With this letter, I wish to express my interest of working in your organization and take the opportunity to put forth my credentials.
Currently, I am enroled in the Master’s program in Technische Universität Berlin in Business Administration and Civil Engineering, with majors in Corporate Finance and Project Management. Last year I studied one semester abroad in Beijing, China.
My previous work experience has instilled in me various qualities and qualifications necessary for this job. I completed my last internship for JLL Asset Management (Real Estate Department) in Munich. During these 6 months I assisted team members with originating, evaluating and underwriting potential acquisitions and dispositions on behalf of the firm’s commingled funds and custom accounts. Furthermore, general asset and portfolio management support including quarterly valuation / reporting and the preparation of presentations were my daily business.
In addition, I have completed another internship (6 months) with a building company before I entered university. My main tasks were assisting with calculations and preparing of presentations.
I am confident that I am the ideal candidate for this position and I would appreciate it very much if you may offer me a chance of an interview where I could further demonstrate my skills and the required qualifications.
