Hello Sir,

I am currently seeking Master’s Degree in Computer Science at Northeastern University, Boston and looking for a Co-op/Internship opportunity in the field of Big Data starting January 2016. I am writing to express my interest in the Software Development Engineer Co-op/Intern position at Amazon.

Previously, I have worked on different projects involving Big Data technologies for a period of 3 years. I was responsible for design and implementation of different modules, task estimations, peer code reviews, performance improvements, bug fixes, unit testing and client interactions. One of the interesting project I worked on in my past organization was to build an Oracle to Hadoop connector which can continuously replicate changes to HDFS, HBase and Hive tables for Big Data analytics.

I have carefully reviewed the job description and requirements for this position and I feel to be a good fit for this position. When I think of developing any distributed application, Amazon is the name that comes to my mind. Working as a member of Amazon development team will take me to the next level in terms of personal and professional growth.
