Smith Business School, I know my academic background will prove useful to your company.

My coursework has provided me with a solid background in business data analytics. In my Designing Business Applications and Intro to Information Systems classes, I have done web writing and editing projects using Visual Basic programming languages with fundamental SQL knowledge, and have produced well-organized database using Excel and Access skills, such as vlookup and embedding SQL in Excel. Moreover, in my Digital Marketing class, I was able to build a website for local business, which has permitted me to apply what I have learned in the classroom. For my project, I was able to combine Information Technology with real-life business to achieve business’s goal through strategic planning and web analysis. I have also learned how to think strategically and tactically when breaking down and solving complex problems.

Furthermore, my work experiences have provided me some valuable skills as well. Having to deal with complex problems of customers and suppliers not only provided me strong customer service experience with high net-worth value clients, but also strengthened my problem-solving and communication skills through collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving conflict with suppliers, and corresponding to clients’ requests with immediate customer support. Additionally, tasks like creating industry analysis and developing marketing campaign allowed me to explore the fields of databases and data mining, which greatly sharpened my analytical skill. My job experiences, along with education I have received, give me the necessary skills and ability to analyze problem and effectively communicate technical details about complex business processes to resolve business problems with technology solutions.
