Finance Department – Internship Program

Dear, Ms. Melissa:
I am very interested in the internship with the Finance Department during the summer session as a Business Analyst. I am a junior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business. My research experience has sparked my interest in the way that economic is delivered through business and finance banking. I believe in the mission of Amazon and would be excited to be an intern with your company.
This summer while studying abroad I was able to look at American culture from a different perspective. This has increased my interest in news delivery and how it helps to inform citizens. I was the only freshman to be elected to the position of Senator for the Associated Students of U of I, and rose to the challenge of representing first-year students while collaborating on larger university issues. Through these experiences I learned the value of effective communication through all forms of media.
In addition to my analytical strengths, I bring to the table advanced computer skills; expertise in the MS Office suite of products; and familiarity with programming languages including SQL, HTML and VB. (probably put on the last paragraph)
Since starting college, I have worked part-time (summers/holidays/evenings) as a clerk at Wal-Mart. In this position, I have earned a reputation for consistently exceeding company and customer expectations. Wal-Mart's store manager has asked me to return this summer, but I yearn to gain corporate finance experience. I am impressed by Acme's innovation and success, and I would very much like to be part of such a winning company. (kerja ya jev di walmart)
I am confident that my experiences, skills and strong interests in the goals of NPR have prepared me to be a strong intern for your program. I have attached my resume and look forward to discussing my qualifications with you. Thank you for your time and consideration. (set up an appointment for interview – available anytime).
Sincerely,
John
