Sample cover letter for Internship position at Amazon
Business analyst
The choices about my education and career have all along been paramount in my upbringing. I have grown up in an environment of freedom – an environment that encourages enquiry, learning and above all self-discovery. This obviously has moulded me into an independent, ‘thinking’ individual with clearly deAined ideas. So much so that when two years ago my school counsellor asked me what I wanted to become, I said, a CEO of the company. Why? Because a CEO enjoys the prerogative of shaping his team & business according to the need of his Com- pany he is handling, I asserted.
My aspiration today is the same. I am a business adminstrator at heart and will remain one always. In the past two years I have closely observed my father who is business head of ES- SAR Steel Middle East FZE Dubai. It is a Steel Processing & Distribution Centre in Jabel Ali Free Zone Dubai. In the summer 2014 I have completed 15 days training here and have ag- gregated exposures to various spheres of business and developed a solid foundation in teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills by working in groups. I reckon that my experiences, achievements, failures and exposures during this training have established a rock-solid context for a formal and advanced business education. My career goals too have evolved through experiences in these settings. In selecting a career I have always been told to Nigure out what I like doing and then make a career out of it. Armed with this bit of phi- losophy, I have been able to identify what I like and have found reason to train myself to groom as a business head of a company.
But I have miles to go.
As the Nirst step in this direction I seek to pursue an undergraduate program in Manage- ment because I believe it will broaden my understanding of business and provide me with an additional knowledge base and network that would help me to accomplish my dreams and open the doors to a wide range of avenues. At the program, I hope to forge lasting ties with people from across the world. The strong network that will result from these associa- tions will be an asset on my journey towards becoming a CEO. The fact that the participants are drawn from various nationalities, makes for an unusual community of learners, each representing a different culture, experience and mindset and yet drawn into a pool of equal- ly motivated, like-minded individuals aspiring to make more professional and more correct careers that enable individuals to serve the community.
My long term objective is to work in a Multi National Company initially for couple of years and then pursue for Masters in Business Administration. Once I will be having this kind of work experience and qualiNication, I can take high level assignment in any good company which will be a step towards the journey of Ninal goal to become CEO.
Thanks for reading my letter i hope i have met the appropriate conditions to get an intern- ship in your company,
