I am a first year student and would like to express my sincere interest in an internship with Amazon.
Throughout my academic life, quantitative and analytical skills have always been my forte. My undergrad experiences working with my peers in various projects and events, have helped me acquire people management skills as well as good communication skills. Being a friendly and cooperative person, I have learned to work in teams. I believe these attributes along with my academic track record build a strong case for me to pursue a career in marketing.
I am a tech-savvy person and have often rendered use of e-commerce services. India has the second largest internet user base in the world which is growing exponentially. There is a huge untapped potential for e-commerce in India and has great long term prospects. Amazon being among the best e-commerce companies in India as well as globally, with its fast growth and a competitive culture, is an ideal match for my interests and can provide me the opportunity to learn and develop a career in this sector. A marketing role at Amazon can provide me the freedom to work on a vast product portfolio and an opportunity to use my quantitative skills along with my creativity to develop a career in this field.
