Dear America Needs You Internship Committee,

I am writing this letter in response to the New York Development Intern available for this summer of 2015. Along with my disciplined and enthusiastic personality, I believe to serve as a greater asset for America Needs You in New York.

As a first-generation student myself, I share the same excitement and dedication that many people at America Needs You have. These values motivate me to be passionate in serving as a development intern for America Need You and prove that we, low-income first-generation students can strive in this country if we try. Furthermore, I can serve as a greater value for this positions because of my disciplined training received as a responsible cadet for an Air Force JROTC program in my high school career. Additionally, under strict Federal Aviation Administration classes in my high school, I have proved to be very detailed oriented and organized in completing assigned tasks.
