Dear Sirs,

I am interested in applying for the position, Apple ConnectEd Professional Learning Coach with the Apple organization. I aspire in attaining a position that matches my interests and qualifications, such this one. I am an educator by trade, interested in maximizing my personal and career growth. Setting tough goals and discovering effective ways to achieve them has always been my approach towards life. This is why I am continuing my studies at SNHU in Instructional Design & Technology.

I know that Apple is at the forefront of revolutionizing entire industries with their amazing technology and industry-leading environmental efforts. Like Apple, I also want to help “leave the world better than we found it”. I want to do this in the education industry. As a secondary school teacher for the last 14 years I’ve worked with the most amazing administrators and teachers. Unfortunately, I’ve also worked with the worse and seen too many injustices to our youth academic, social and emotional well-being.

I want to work at initiating real change, such as enabling our youth with 21^st century skills they will need the rest of their lives. It appears there are not enough educators on the side of our youth and our communities are suffering the consequences. As a vocational career and technology teacher 12 years ago, I was laid off my position along with many other vocational teachers and those in the arts and humanities. Although studies proved that this was a disservice to our youth, education continues to be slow to move and our students continue to suffer the consequence of never realizing their true potential.

I have the relevant skills and experience, the drive, interest and determination to make a real success of a role such as the one posted for Apple ConnectED Professional Learning Coach (48346849). I love learning and committed to improving how we deliver public education to our youth. Educators need to know how to better prepare students for the global market and working at Apple will give me the foundational skills I need to pursue my goals, the real world experience for understanding and the freedom to be creative and teacher others to do so as well.

My background in Special Education and Career and Technology Education has given me a unique insight and perspective in how I see business and education. My experiences continue to cultivate my passion for technology and designing curriculum that considers all aspects of learning including the mental health and well-being of our youth at all levels of understanding.
