Throughout my retail and finance work experience where I utilized and enhanced my excellent customer service and numerical skills, I acquired a passion for both retail and finance, which is why I would love to contribute my skills within the Financial Analyst role.

I have always had a passion for fashion trends with special regards to suits and smart wear and my admiration for Top Man’s flamboyant and elegant products drew me to apply to Arcadia Group. As an innovative and prudential company demonstrated through IT overhauls, pushes into the international market like China with Miss Selfridges and Top Shop and the Harmony House initiative, I would relish the opportunity to become an auspicious and creative member of an admirable company and contribute to your continued success.

I can bring and develop further my fantastic analytical skills within the Financial Analyst role. During my internship at Northern Trust I was entrusted with a large project involving aligning client profitability numbers through analysing a large excel spreadsheet and required a keen eye for detail to identify errors. I liaised with relationship managers and refined my organizational and communication skills to convey and acquire necessary information. I completed this project to a high standard and was praised for working in high detail and efficiency, and would love to utilize these skills and creativity when creating forecasts and reports whilst liaising with other departments to ensure Arcadia Group’s brands are performing accordingly.

In addition, I can contribute excellent numerical skills enhanced throughout my degree. Within my Bank Finance module, I developed my numeracy, organizational and Microsoft Office skills to complete my assignments to a high standard. These included manipulating large excel databases, analysing bank’s financial conditions and subsequently presenting strategical recommendations, and I would relish the opportunity to undertake similar projects within the Exceed programme. During the University Trading Challenge I used these same skills to make informed investment decisions following news broadcasts, whilst enhancing my problem solving skills. Furthermore, I possess fantastic communication skills which I have refined within my role as an Erasmus ambassador, where I gave presentations to interested students and articulated the beneficial facets of the programme which enhanced my public speaking and presentational skills.
