Sample cover letter for Full Time position at BCG

POSITION:

Associate

As a graduating  student at XXX, I am writing to apply for a full-time Associate position with Boston Consulting Group . I have had the opportunity to interact with several of your colleagues at Employer Information Session in which I have been thoroughly impressed with the caliber of people associated with your company. It is clear to me that BCG values diversity and empowers its people to carve their own distinct paths within the firm. I am certain that BCG offers me the type of experience that I am seeking in my future career.

During my past two summer internships I assisted a leading real estate developer with strategic redesign of its Project Operations Management solutions, including secondary development of E-Procurement System, Contractor Evaluation Framework, Contract Bidding System and user interface design. This was an invaluable experience that involved high-level operational decision making and systems integration. Working with senior client’s team, I strengthened my team skills, identified and presented actionable recommendations of multi-million savings opportunities, as well as got more exposed to consulting practices. Commended for my client relationship aptitude, reliability and commitment, I was reaffirmed that my background is particularly well suited for a career in consulting industry.

My strong problem solving ability, along with broad international outlook and enthusiasm about working in BCG , qualify me for the associate position.I would very much appreciate the opportunity to interview with BCG . Should you have any questions regarding my interests or qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me.Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Best Regards,
