Dear Recruiter,

I am seeking a wealth management internship at Bank of America for the summer of 2016. The 36.23% increase in net income by Bank of America from the previous year cements the fact that Bank of America is the strongest wealth management firm in the industry. I find it impressive that Bank of America has been able to accomplish this through their core values of trust, responsibility, empowerment and opportunity.

I am currently studying finance at the University of Richmond. I am a Business Administration major with a concentration in finance and accounting in the Robins School of Business. My anticipated graduation date is May 2017. I believe that my background in finance and sales is well aligned with the requirements and objectives of the summer intern position at Bank of America.

My experience last summer as an intern for Miller & Milone P.C. provided me a deeper understanding of financial modeling as well as interpersonal communication skills. By observing the firms financial records of their accounts receivable and accounts payable I now have further knowledge of how companies operate on a daily basis.
