Sample cover letter for Full Time position at Battalion
Junior Account Executive
Dear Job Recruiting Representative,
I am applying for the Junior Account Executive position at Battalion Public Relations. As a student majoring in public relations, a research assistant, and PR and marketing intern, I have done extensive documentation and exploratory work in the field of communication and have had the opportunity to manage media and publicity events. I believe that my work and academic experience could positively contribute to Battalion’s reputation as a leading communication firm.
I have always been passionate about learning, but since entering Boston University and studying communication, my passion has intensified. I have built a solid academic foundation, which includes a strong background in both writing and oral skills. My work experience has honed my ability to multi-task, pay strict attention to detail and communicate effectively with others. As a student coming from the digital age of communication, I have done a substantial amount of work with Word, iMovie, Excel, and PowerPoint. I am constantly adapting to new platforms and always excited to take on new challenges.
I have loved fashion since I was a little girl, showing up to my kindergarten classes with bows in my hair and fake jewelry draped around my neck. I know that this long-time passion for the fashion industry will allow me to connect well with the vision and services of Battalion Public Relations.
Battalion Public Relations offers an unparalleled opportunity for new and creative voices to learn from top professionals in the industry. I am interested in nearly all aspects of public relations and publicity and I am ready to immerse myself into this fast-paced and competitive industry. I am intelligent, energetic, motivated, and a team player and feel that the characteristics I posses will match with the identity of Battalion Public Relations.
