I am writing to apply for a job at your English Department at Best Tutors.

Please find attached a copy of my CV for your information. I am currently on a gap year intending to fulfil my ambition of proceeding into studying a degree in medicine in the next academic year. I am currently working as a Maths Tutor at AEC Tutors and have also been involved in volunteering projects; including at ELHAP an organisation which provides care and facilities for disadvantaged children. During this I have enhanced many skill sets such as communication, organisation and adapting to situations depending on the scenario at hand.

I have obtained A levels in Maths (A*), Chemistry (A), Physics (A), Biology (B). I also have a keen interest in English, and obtained an A grade in both English Language and Literature at GCSE Level. During my GCSE in English I thoroughly enjoyed many of its aspects including in depth analysis of the techniques used in adverts and poems, writing essays on Shakespeare’s plays for my coursework. Therefore I wish to use the skills acquire during my different work experience and work placements to teach English at Best Tutors.
