POSITION:

Graduate Analyst

My name is (), a final-year student at (), and am writing to express my strong interest in the 2016 Graduate Programme at BlackRock.

As the leading firm in investment management, BlackRock serves a huge number of institutional and retail clients daily. As a young aspiring graduate striving to work in the financial sector, I am excited by the aggressive investment stance your firm takes within the Asian markets, and seek challenges and development opportunities at your firm. In addition, speaking to one of your former summer interns, (), has led me to know of the enthusiastic and lively working environment of your firm. This has strongly encouraged and reinforced my belief to pursue similar learning opportunities at your firm, which I believe will challenge me to seek constant growth and development, an environment I hope to immerse myself upon graduation.

On top of my internship experiences, I find that university is the best time for me to develop myself to be a graduate filled with strong imagination, character, and values. As such, I am pleased to have taken on many leadership roles in my co-curricular activities (CCA). Within the university’s arts cluster, I served as the finance president for over 25 clubs. As a dancer, I performed in the university’s salsa dance team, and have clinched awards internationally. These vibrant contributions enabled me to be chosen as an ambassador for the school, and I regularly represent the university in hosting foreign delegates.

Having met and worked with dedicated banking professionals, I am inspired to emulate their achievements, and carve out my own journey. I hope that BlackRock will consider my application, and look forward to hearing from your office soon.
