I first learned of Bloomberg from XXXX who shared his insights and enthusiasm of working for the first information company at a Panel about the Financial and Investment Banking industry at ESCP Europe in September. I was very pleased to see the open position of Financial Product Analytics and Sales and it is with great interest and enthusiasm that I would like to apply for it.

I will finish my Master of Science in European Business in July 2016, during which I was able to develop my analytical and financial skills in different areas. I had the chance to work on a first consultancy project and successfully conducted an “Analysis of the mining industry to create new B-to-B lead generation” for our client. As Group Leader of this project, I learned to work under pressure, to organize our group strengths as efficiently as possible and to reduce the complexity of the initial objectives to deliver what the client really needed.

I have also enjoyed the most our Problem Solving and Decision Making class, where I was able to examine problems with a critical and imaginative eye that that will enable me to succeed in applying my skills at a much larger level.

My previous experiences in Recruitment (at Michael Page and Vifor Pharma) granted me the chance to develop successful client relationships. Being exposed to different personalities and their expectations, facing strong sales and time pressure, coordinating internal and external stakeholders as well as delivering results were the first things I learned in my commercial and recruitment activities.

I find the prospect of working for Bloomberg particularly stimulating due to the specific corporate culture internally as well as for the opportunity to build and develop my career in the financial industry. My profile does not show a specific experience in the financial services sector. However, I decided to specialise in Finance during my Bachelor and Master studies, I inform myself about this industry and have a strong interest in building my knowledge further in this field.

I have always enjoyed solving problems and bring a solution to clients in needs, especially in a fast-paced environment. I hope that by joining Bloomberg, I can develop and apply solid sales skills with systematic approach to everyday life. I am curious, ambitious and versatile with a positive team spirit. I strongly believe that my multi-cultural background, my fun personality and my willingness to take ownership of my actions match perfectly Bloomberg corporate values.
