Sample cover letter for Full Time position at Boston Consulting Group - BCG

I am a senior associate at Deloitte, having secured my summer vacation scheme internship with Deloitte and joining the firm as a graduate in their Energy & Resources London audit department October 2014.
I am also a mentor to 5 students currently in their third year since their internships with professional services firms.

After having researched roles that would be more aligned with my strengths and long term career aspirations, I have come to see consulting as the ideal career for me. I enjoy working with different teams in a changing environment, and applying creative and critical thinking to solve significant business problems.

Though Deloitte has given me excellent opportunities, and has been an environment where I have been able to shine, I believe that BCG would provide me with the best opportunities to specialise in Consulting. I have been particularly interested in the work that both firms does with Energy companies, especially renewable energy given my background in this sector. 

My experiences at Deloitte include creating and maintaining Excel models, field managing engagements, creating presentations, and analysing data. The clients I have worked for include FTSE100, government sector, higher education and large private clients. On my client engagements to date, I have earned the trust and confidence of my Deloitte colleagues and been entrusted with owning my own deliverables, and working directly for senior client stakeholders

I am looking for a career that will challenge me and capitalise on my skills and believe that working in consulting would provide me with this if the opportunity is still available for this year, I am also open to other opportunities available through SEO, as SEO has been tremendously helpful to me and your guidance I have always followed and benefited from.
