Towards the end of 2013, I joined 90.3 WKRB, a college radio station at Kingsborough Community College. By February of 2014, I was co-hosting a weekly radio show, which revolved around old school Hip-Hop and R&B. I was responsible for adding music to the show on a weekly basis, along with getting news information. By August that year, I was hosting my own show, which focused more on pop culture and entertainment news in addition to Hip-Hop and EDM music. As your music intern, I would apply this knowledge to ensure that the conversation is kept going for users while staying on-topic and within relevance.

My background as a radio personality combined with my passion for your company and this role, would make me uniquely qualified to tackle the conversation on Hip-Hop and Rap culture, not to mention my love for pop culture which is one of the reasons why I chose the field of Journalism and Communications.
