I am currently pursuing BBA at Schulich School of Business and am specializing in finance and economics. I am also registered to give the first level of CFA in December 2015. I feel my diverse work experience in 3 different countries makes me an ideal asset to your team.

• MIAC, New York, United States:
  Over the summers, I worked in New York for a boutique investment bank called MIAC. There, I gained ample experience in getting meaningful information from large amounts of data. I learnt to build risk models for operational and market risk for mortgage backed securities. I also conducted cash flow valuations for mortgage backed securities containing hundreds of loans. My analysis had me use a combination of vlookups and pivot tables to stratify all the data based on the individual loan characteristics like FICO scores, interest rates etc. I had to use VBA extensively to build models for calculating ROE and risk.
• Realized Worth, Toronto, Canada:
  In the past, I also worked in a consulting company called Realized Worth. I was regularly responsible for conducting research and presenting my findings. I managed to add value by improving the existing programs of large scale clients like United Nations and Apple in terms of both efficiency and cost. I also volunteered to work on a new revenue stream for the company in the form of cohort consulting. I was a part of the team that helped conceptualize cohort consulting.
• Larsen & Toubro, New Delhi, India:
  I also have had previous work experience in accounting. I got hands on experience with audit and compliance through working at Larsen and Toubro which is India’s largest engineering company.

Academically, I have excelled in all my courses as well and have managed to maintain a good GPA throughout. I have gained a thorough knowledge of financial statements and their analysis through my courses. Also, my interest in stock markets has further helped me to gain a more hands on experience in portfolio management and the use of Bloomberg Terminal. I also have a strong quantitative background as a result of taking advanced math courses such as linear algebra, calculus as electives. In addition, I also have an interest in writing code. I have experience in multiple coding languages.

I feel I would be a good fit for the position because I have an inquisitive mind and a wide variety of interests including finance, astronomy, psychology etc. which is a good trait to have to work in a field like this. Also I have demonstrated that I am a team player on numerous occasions both academically and beyond.
