As a Staff Accountant in Corporate Finance at ABC Accounting, last summer, I conducted three risk

assessment and two compliance audits for internal clients, providing recommendations to improve

efficiency and reduce overall expenditures by ten percent. Further, in this role, I partnered with a team

of five external consultants and completed an audit to assess Corporate Human Resources and

independently conducted SOX compliance testing for regulatory purposes. Lastly, at Big Corporation, I

led cycle time improvement initiatives, decreasing shipment delays, and analyzed monthly product

shipment details, producing reports for senior management strategic planning meetings.

Having worked within the accounting industry and working towards my CMA designation, I understand

the importance of minimizing risk exposure and ensuring that audits are completed correctly. This
