I was recently introduced to CAPCO via a university careers tutor and was impressed with what I learned of your in-depth training programme. I am interested in pursuing an Associate Talent position at CAPCO, and have enclosed my resume and background information below.

Investment banking and finance has been very important to me since the financial crisis. Having read numerous papers and articles outlining various perspectives on the reasons of the crash, there was always a hunger to learn and understand more about this. During my Masters studies I learnt more about the role monetary policies and macroeconomic trends played on the overall global economy.

I have previously completed my undergraduate studies in Economics and Mathematics and have a good grasp of data analysis and modelling. Previous internships at Standard Chartered Bank have introduced me to varied methods of valuing assets, including Discounted Cash Flows. Whilst at Standard Chartered, I worked closely with the Commercial Real Estate team and created a model for financial forecasting on Excel. The model used a plethora of different valuation methods in order to streamline the process for the other analysts. In addition to this I completed a research project on the state of private equity opportunities within the Indian real estate market.
