Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a first-year student applying for the position of the App Design and Development Intern at Caravan Studios. I am extremely passionate about computer science, information technology, and web design and believe that this opportunity will allow me to gain first-hand experience in the development and implementation of innovative applications.

During my two-year internship working with ABC Consulting, I gained experience programming in HTML and CSS using Dreamweaver to manage live webpages such as the company’s press release site. My experience at ABC Consulting encouraged me to continue to pursue a computer science major so I may expand my knowledge to even more programming languages. Currently, I work part-time at the Z Company where I practice accurately and efficiently diagnosing and resolving technical issues with classroom computer hardware, systems, and projectors. Lastly, through my internship at XYZ this past summer, I learned to quickly adapt to different types of databases such as RAZ and AppX. During my time at XYZ, I completed all projects well before their deadlines, allowing ample time for my supervisors to start new projects.
