MSc Research Project: Triggering mouse embryonic stem cell differentiation by combining matrix elasticity and principles of plasma polymerization

Key Role & Responsibilities:

  • Routine culture of mouse embryonic stem cells and preparation of feeder layers for the same.
  • Designing experiments to achieve mechanical differentiation.
  • Manufacturing plasma surfaces on polyacrylamide gels using in house plasma machine.
  • Performing optimisation for immunohistochemistry experiments.

Project Title: Assessing the expression of Nanog in differentiated & undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells using real-time PCR
