I am a first year student of Master in Finance and Accounting at the XXX University in XXX, and I am writing to apply for the Summer Internship at Citi XXX.

I consider myself as an ambitious and responsible person. My attitude toward fulfilling obligations is characterized by commitment, candour, creativeness and initiative. Thanks to my organizational and interpersonal skills as well as proficient command of foreign languages I can ensure to perform my duties in a highly professional manner.

During my volunteering at XXX I got acquainted with the specialised agenda and various aspects typical of work in a financial society. I had a chance to broaden my knowledge concerning the ethics of the financial sector. As part of my responsibilities, I actively participated in the XXX events. I had an opportunity to assist the team during promotional and cultural events like XXX. I was in charge of press reports, as well as promotional materials, brochures and invitations. I had also a chance to get familiar with performing financial research and writing on diverse issues connected to finances matters. I actively fulfilled my duties as a volunteer.

My academic experience has solidified my commitment to banking and finance. I have chosen XXX specialisation at XXX University with regard to developing my knowledge and broaden horizons in this subject. Idea of getting to know inside out the process XXX and having possibility to learn more about activities that are pointed at XXX really cover my interest and will allow me to obtain hands on experience.

During my Erasmus Programme in XXX I had the possibility to gain useful experience and valuable knowledge from world-class finance experts who came from different countries of the world. This experience exposed me to a diverse set of banking issues. I was able to continue developing my research and writing skills. Most importantly, this exchange strongly improved my communication and organizational skills. 

Internship at the XXX will give me a great possibility for my professional development, and I believe my experience and commitment to all my assignments would allow me to make a substantial contribution to XXX.
