I would like to apply for the Equity Research Graduate Analyst position at your institution starting in the summer of 2017

I am in my final year of university with a strong interest in the equity markets. I believe that a career in Equity Research will enable me to fulfil my professional goals. I am in particular interested in a position at Fidelity because of its strong reputation and global reach. In addition, I believe I have the skills required in order to succeed in the role.

I am currently an active member of the LSE investment fund. During the last academic year I covered UK financials with a team of 4 other students and carried out the full work of an analyst, including responding to the news flow, discussing potential buy/sell recommendations with my team and pitching my ideas to the investment committee. This role confirmed my desire to work as an Equity Research analyst.

In addition, my past work experience investment banking and investment management has enabled me to develop the analytical, valuation and communication skills that are key to the Equity Research role. I am a strong team player and have presented in a professional environment on multiple occasions.
