About a two months ago I had to make a tough decision. It’s a decision

every startup founder faces from time to time. The question here:

continue running against the wind to get an idea off the ground or

swiftly change direction to find a growing company where I could apply

my knowledge, ambition and leadership. Of course, I chose the second

option, which led me to the (Name of Training Program), and let me tell you why

that decision, and the work experience that comes with it, makes me a

great candidate for the Editorial Intern at (Company Name).

First, I bring a sense of ownership to the projects I work on. As the

founder of an employment website and main curator of vibrant creative

community, I worked hard to empower makers, producers,

communicators, designers, artisans, and storytellers by providing them

with employment information, job placement services, career

resources, education, events, and networking opportunities. This

experience shaped me into a hardworking creative leader with an

understanding of what’s possible on various technology platforms and

the patience to see them through from concept to production.
