I am writing to express my interest in searching for a Consulting Intern position at COPE Health Solutions. This exciting position fits well with my professional experience and educational and career goals. This Fall I will begin pursuing a Master Degree in Health Informatics at the University of Michigan. My goal upon graduation in 2018 is to utilize my health informatics skills to work as a healthcare consultant. I believe working at COPE Health as a consultant Intern will help me develop a deeper understanding of project management and analytics which I can use to assist clients to become leaders in the health industry.

I hold Bachelors from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. For the past year, I have been working as a Care Coordinator at Meridian Health Plan, a Detroit based Health Insurance Company. This experience allowed me to act as a liaison between members and their families, providers, and the health insurance company. Representing various stakeholders has allotted me the knowledge to decipher the type of care and or assistance needed by each party. Through this experience I have gained strong analytical thinking skills, improved customer service skills and a strong acumen in the healthcare industry.
