Hey guys,

I am a 1^st year student in the enrolled in y and I am writing you to submit my application for a position in Society advertised during and also on your society web site.

I had always a strong interest in finance  I see my personal goal as a job in finance, on a trading desk especially. Nowadays financial sector provides an inside view of economics and on the effect on day to day life.

I have some experience in trading: I used to trade currencies when I was in high school, I have participated in two trading competitions, one organized by and the second organized by (with real money).

I am sure that the society will benefit from my commitment to the projects, from my (little) experience on trading and from my huge interest on this subject. All the reasons above indicate my willingness and my grit to be part of , that’s why you should chose me.

Also, applying for this position you need some, qualities such as: Problem-solving, Good mathematical skills and risk management, Teamwork, Creativity, Personal initiatives. And I am sure I can convince you that I have all these qualities.

-Problem-solving and Creativity - my last jobs, provided a wide range of problems and I discovered the ability to manage stressful situations and problems with no lack of creativity and self control. The wide range of problems that I have encountered has been the best school for training problem-solving skills that life could provide.

- Mathematical skills and Risk management – I am passionate about calculus in general but my main area of interest is application of Probability theory. So, I try to applicate these theories to some areas of my interest: from risk management to poker mathematics. I am also a basic user of Matlab and VBA, two codding languages, that I’m improving the knowledge of, that are very popular among traders.

-Teamwork and Leadership - I have been playing waterpolo for 14 years and I’m still playing it with the university team
