First, in my view, this internship in the field of FMCG would enable me to follow my dreams and accomplish my goals. My long-term goal is to work as an FMCG industry advisor in a consultancy, therefore I am extremely motivated and keen to learn about this profession for which this internship would be a perfect match due to its practical and high-level experience.
Secondly, in my final year as a project leader for my International Business Project module, I successfully coordinated a Harvard case study focusing on Kellogg’s fictional competitor United Cereal. During this module I was amazed how diverse this market is and how even seemingly homogenous markets require unique solutions on all management levels. I believe this accompanied by my excellent academic results in relevant subjects such as Project Management and Economics, makes me a perfect match for this internship.
Furthermore, throughout my professional network as a team leader at AIESEC, I have encountered exemplary committee members and professionals that are employed by Kellogg’s which really attracts my attention. Therefore, I find it inspiring working for Kellogg’s as I can benefit from opportunities for career development and personal growth.
Finally, I am also strongly attracted to Kellogg’s cosmopolitan atmosphere, and the diversity of cultures represented within it. Having had the opportunity of working in an entirely international organization with colleagues from all around the world, I have experienced the advantages of embracing diversity, and this has convinced me of my desire and ambition to work in such a challenging, multicultural environment.
To sum up, it is my firm belief that I would be an appropriate person for Kellogg’s internship due to my dedication, skills and the passion for my profession. This program would be a perfect match both for my background and my career goals because of the reasons mentioned above.
