Dear Sir/Madam
Having an exemplary academic record, a natural flair for numbers and a diligent, conscientious
approach to business makes me an ideal candidate for Credit Suisse’s Spring Insight.
Upon researching the company, I was especially impressed with the firm’s calibre of employees.
During the Credit Suisse Insight day in London, I discussed this topic further with Mr Rich
McDonald, Emerging Markets, whose views concurred with my research; specifically regarding the
fact that the employees are not only very capable but always provided with a highly challenging and
stimulating environment, as he found out when he returned to Credit Suisse. My innate desire to solve
complex problems with like-minded individuals lead me to discovering the firm during high school.
When, I coupled this with my fascination for the world of business and passion for technology, I was
instantly attracted to the opportunities which involve such areas of interest whilst being challenging
and educational, such as the Spring Insight.
Academics aside, during the Morgan Stanley insight day in London, I was offered the chance to
present our team’s report on the importance of client relations, notably due to which I was offered an
application fast track. I was commended on my attention to detail, enthusiastic manner and articulate
communication. Furthermore, at the Ernst & Young Skills Academy I was elected as team leader by
fellow team members because of my constructive communication, vision and decision-making
aptitude; after which victory ensued. A contributing factor to this was my speed of thought and
composure, which allowed me to tackle problems effectively in high pressure situations.
In conclusion, I believe my intellectual ability and voracious hunger to learn, coupled with Credit
Suisse’s emphasis on employee development, would result in great success. I would welcome the
opportunity to further demonstrate my qualities and look forward to hearing from you.
