Dear Sir/Madam,

I’m currently in my second year at the University of Reading where I’m studying Accounting and Finance. I’m writing to you to explore the possibility of gaining work experience in Investment Banking- Capital and Global markets at Credit Suisse during the summer of 2017. Moreover, in the last few months I’ve gained experience from the ‘Associate program’ at UBB where I found that my goal is to work within one of the largest and most profitable institutions which is in the bulge bracket such as Credit Suisse with its improving indicators every month. Another reason to choose Credit Suisse is that the company has been identified as one of the most important banks and recognized as the world’s best private bank. With an insight view within a bank that offers great level of responsibility and more client interaction I could get the knowledge I need in order to achieve my goals in the future.

I’m really passionate about Finance so I believe my solid understanding of the market concepts, analytical thinking, and decision-making would be really beneficial in a work environment like Investment Banking. I learned the importance of self-improvement but my determination is not only to improve myself but to help with my knowledge, work and life experience and the creative problem solving for a company that looks at its interns with a belief.

I believe that working with Credit Suisse would be an opportunity of a lifetime. It’s a chance that can only give me a lot of benefits for a further development of my abilities. The bank as a member of the Wall Street’s bulge bracket is an admired institution and few are those that can get a chance to work there. Furthermore, the bank was named ‘Best Global Bank’ in 2010 and has received more awards for the Best Investment Bank by ‘Euromoney’ magazine.

For all the reasons I explained and the knowledge I gained, I believe I’m a very motivated and passionate candidate for this opportunity in Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse. In order to build a long lasting partnership I would give everything I can and dedicate all my abilities for a company that appreciates me and in that I see Credit Suisse.
