Application for ‘Introduction to Strategy Day’

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Rahul and I am a first year undergraduate at the LSE studying BSc Economics. I was recently introduced to your firm via my university, and was impressed with what I learned of your efforts and approach to consulting, which I would like to know more in detail in the ‘introduction to strategy day’. I strongly agree that commitment and agility are the most important characteristics that clients require in order to tackle any business problems, which is parallel to Credo’s approach to consulting.

I believe that this program will give me unparalleled insight into strategy consulting as well as the ability to gain exposure in the various markets Credo is involved in. The case study guidance that this program is able to offer is something that really appeals to me, giving me the opportunity to implement the coaching in my applications for consulting applications. I have enclosed my resume and background information below.

Whilst interning at a Blockchain startup, Chainvine ltd, I was keen to take on as much responsibility as possible. Communicating this clearly with my supervisors, I was tasked with producing numerous corporate decks and financial reports under tight deadlines. I worked efficiently under pressure, making sure I paid attention to detail, as it would be later used by the CFO and other supervisors in client meetings. I believe this really benefited my professional development, by enhancing my office etiquette and ability to create extensive corporate relations, this equips me very well for the corporate world.

I have really strengthened my organisational skills balancing 4 demanding A-Level subjects alongside outside sports and School Prefect duties. One of the most rewarding experiences during my time is when I took up responsibility to lead and organise 45 Yr 9-10 students. Coordinating rehearsals for House elocution, I showed great leadership and consequently led my house to victory. I believe I have shown commitment by completing over 150 hours volunteering with a local charity called Me2 club that encourages disabled children to play an active part in sports and activities.
