I am writing to apply for the IT Project Associate Internship at DMR Co., Ltd. I Master of International Management student, a tri-national degree in which I developed core-skills in business analyses, performance management and marketing innovation in various industries. Personally, working in Japan to learn Japanese business dynamics and culture has always been a dream for me. Given the international spread of DMR’s staff, it is evident that the company believes in using the power of a globalized society to disrupt legacy industries. Additionally, I am attracted to the energy and agility of small entrepreneurial companies – something I have yet to experience within my professional development. As such, I can only look forward to the projects I am exposed to and will manage during the internship at DMR.

I have always had a knack for numbers and details, a tendency to look for the new and connect dots that people often overlook. Additionally, I take great pride in delivering high-impact and sustainable results. I proactively sought UniCredit to polish my quantitative analyses by assisting the planning and controlling team cost-saving areas. I exercised in-depth financial analyses in reconciling inflation effects, CAGR of business costs and cost/income evolutions to forecast costs for 13 countries. The report I developed autonomously was and is still used by senior managers and key business units as the basis for revising the CEE banks’ budgets for 2018.

Having lived extensively in 3 continents, I had the privilege to collaborate within multi-national and multi-disciplinary teams. Regardless of experience or background, it is this diversity that creates innovative solutions. I led my multinational team of 6 in pitchingmethods to optimize distributor motivation within their sales-recovery strategy in South Korea. Though the distributor was put at fault, we challenged this assumption and confirmed our hypothesis of poor performance management by synthesizing distributor interviews and financial performance. These suggestions were well-commended and a tailored management style was considered for future markets. Moreover, this experience taught me to understand when it is appropriate to lead, to contribute and to listen.
