Dear Team,
As a first year MBA student at Olin, I am interested in the Summer 2016 IT Interns position at DSW for the summer of 2016. Prior coming to business school, I worked for Ericsson for 6 years. In my last role, I was leading a cross functional team of Subject Matter Experts to provide solutions on various touch points in Sales and ordering cycles.
The projects I worked on required dealing with ambiguity, doing deep-down situation analyses, making problem statements, formulating solutions, and implementing solutions. One of my biggest achievements at Ericsson was reducing the delivery lead time for third party products by 50%; the project was also nominated for Ericsson Quality awards. In addition, I have developed the value sales playbook to maximize ROI for the customer and provide a one-stop shop for sales personnel by including a SWOT analysis of the products, competitive positioning and strategic negotiation methods. The sales playbook achieved a 9% reduction in telecom equipment costs for the customer, enhancing customer satisfaction.
I am interested in the Summer 2016 Internship position because it would provide me the right platform and opportunity to display my skills gained in my prior job and business education. I see lot of good opportunity for me to explore in this division. I have expertise in the areas of Value based selling, pricing, bid management, process optimization, quality improvement, team handling, and project management.
