I am PRAKHER SINGH a Third Year Undergraduate student of IIT Delhi from Department of Engineering Physics. I am applying for Daikin’s 2nd internship department for the development of A/C Components (heat exchanger and fans). The main aim of an Engineer should be to improve the common man’s life by developing new innovative Engineering ideas, Technical tools or models or products of their need and As an individual I am resourceful, hardworking, dedicated to my work, and enthusiastic. These qualities of mine encourage me to pursue a carrier in engineering and get the solutions for real world problems. The topic I have chosen requires a good knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and as I have done some courses like Transport phenomena, Thermal and statistical physics which may prove helpful for me and during this time I have done courses related to experimentation which gave me a high level of proficiency in collating and analyzing data using MS-Excel. I am also involved in designing and development of an ATV under Baja SAE IIT Delhi so this also ensure that I can understand and learn things of other departments easily. In my view Daikin’s policies of applying environmentally friendly practices and approaches in all the fields and aspects of the business is great. As I have a keen interest in the research and development field of the manufacturing sector Daikin being the global no. 1 air conditioning company, is the best company in which I can grow, learn and contribute to the world. I am very much eager to be a part of this work culture which promotes research and innovations through environmental friendly practices across all facets of the life. I would also like to reiterate the fact that I am looking forward to an opportunity to work in Japan given the fact that the Japanese companies are hardworking, provide innovative environment and high effectiveness enterprises which would help me greatly in improving my present skills.
