As someone who is passionate about technology-enabled change in a real world application, solving complex business problems and creating quality work in a challenging environment, I am writing to express my interest in the Business Technology Analyst Summer Scholar Program at Deloitte. After having an enlightening conversation with Mr. Bhanu Rathore at the ISchool Career Fair, it strengthen my belief that I am exact fit for Deloitte. Prior to my Masters at Syracuse University I was working at Accenture Services Pvt Ltd as a software engineering analyst for about 2.5 years. Through my stint at Accenture and various academic projects at the ISchool, I had the opportunity to not only leverage but also develop strong skills in strategic thinking and team dynamics. I have a fair amount of experience in customer relationships and working with a diverse team of cross functional individuals. Being a part of the change management and process improvement team, I hone the ability to put the needs of clients first and to bring new and innovative approaches to work. The exposure I received as the lead of the Business Response Team, has helped me gain confidence and respect of clients and team members and helped me build strong relationships. In my own little ways, I have made attempts to give something back to the society. One of my proudest achievements has been my association with Asha Kiran Charitable Trust. This NGO runs many social campaigns providing daily necessities to the destitute and free basic education to underprivileged kids. These experiences gave me an opportunity to make a difference to my community and I have personally gained valuable social insights and experience in organization and human relations. I would love to be a part of the various initiatives at Deloitte like IMPACT Day and Corporate citizenship programs through which I could continue making a difference. Deloitte is the correct place for me as it would provide me with the right direction at this important juncture of my life. The training program would help me grow as a professional in terms of the technical skills as well as critical professional behaviors, standards, and mindsets. It will enable me to make the most of my internship program. The various challenges, mentoring, and networking opportunities would help me hone my skills. I would get the right amount of exposure and a multitude of opportunities and would be able to live up to the company motto of making an impact that matters.
