I have applied for the B.T.A position at Deloitte as I am significantly interested in how the business of a company can be improved by developing a strategy to use the pertinent technology in the most appropriate manner.

Below is the description of the necessary skills that I have nurtured that are required in a consultant:

Leadership/Management Skills: During my internship at _______ we lost two team members the team was condensed from five to three. I was abruptly placed in the Team Lead position where I had: communicate with ____________ explain the situation and assure them in our ability to deliver, reassign tasks, ask for more from each team member, motivate my team to work harder and implement a bi-weekly Work breakdown structure (WBS) to ensure the tasks were performed and that each member knew the task they had to perform .We successfully complete the project.

I have learnt the value of viewing the end product of a project from the end users perspective. To deliver an optimum product I have realized that there are times when I have to learn topics outside my coursework, items related to the company; its processes, customers, products or competitors allowing me to see the bigger picture.

I am currently pursuing a course in Entrepreneurship which teaches the importance of the commercialization of technology. I am tasked with a feasibility study to determine which research projects are viable candidates for commercialization, patents or start-ups.
