I am a current 3^rd (penultimate) year student of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. Following conversations with your representatives at campus career fairs, there was a strong emphasis on cultural diversity in Deutsche Bank, whether within the workplace or the bank’s client base, and that was something I greatly appreciated. As such, I would like to apply for a summer internship in Asset & Wealth Management at your company.

My previous internship experiences encompass a wide range of industries, namely banking, oil & gas and consulting. During this time I have learned a lot about the different work dynamics of each company, and at the same time developed skills relating to market analysis, process optimisation and risk mitigation. In addition, I am personable, and capable of effective communication within groups. The societies that I have joined throughout my time at university have strengthened my ability to lead a team, as well as manage time and finances efficiently. Also, I am confident that my numerical aptitude and attention to detail will help facilitate your division’s day-to-day operations.

While asset management may be different from my work experience thus far, I believe that the aforementioned skills, along with my interest in different markets will prove useful to this position. I appreciate your time for reviewing my application, and I look forward to hearing from you.
