Dear Sir or Madam,

Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Financial Mathematics at the University of Surrey; I am heading towards the end of the penultimate year of my undergraduate studies. I was very intrigued when I read your advertisement for a summer internship as it precisely fits my career plans.

My passion for the financial markets was obvious from a very young age. This is what led me to start reading the news and staying up to date with the financial world. With the ambition of becoming a successful trader, I think that the most important tool is the fundamental analysis that he can put through. This is why I profoundly believe that an internship in a Greek bank, especially during this period of recession, is a once in a lifetime opportunity, as I will be in an environment that has many experiences to offer me.

In February 2016, wanting to expand my knowledge in Investment Banking, I participated in “The Young Investment Banker Weekend” held at UCL. The first day of the seminar we talked about Sales and Trading, while the second day was about Corporate Finance. Both days included lectures from executives of leading Investment Banks, practical exercises and personal feedback. This experience offered me very basic and important knowledge that will work as a strong foundation and it gave me the opportunity to meet successful professionals and ask them questions.

Working in such a well-established environment such as Eurobank, and especially Eurobank Equities ΑΕΠΕΥ, will allow me to learn from experts of the markets and develop strong professional relationships. My passionate approach coupled with my ability to learn fast form a good combination for such a position.
