Having won the Best Global Flow House award in 2013, Deutsche Bank is also well-positioned financially for expanding the client base and market share. I am also surprised by Deutsche Bank’s resilience during the Global Financial Crisis, which I think was largely attributed to its excellence in managing risks. Besides, I admire Deutsche Bank’s vision to be the leading client-centric global universal bank, which has been the key to its strong base of loyal and long-term clients. In addition, Deutsche Bank’s engagement in communities especially its youth engagement programme “Born To Be” appeals to me. My voluntary experience at an organisation focusing on youth education this year has let me realise the significance of youth development, so I would like to assume part of Deutsche Bank’s corporate responsibility.

The Risk division plays a supportive and fundamental role in transactions and protects the capital and regulatory adherence of the bank. I would like to join the Risk division of Deutsche Bank because currently, the complex financial regulations and the probable threat of disproportionate risk aversion have highlighted the increasing importance of effective risk management, and thus I aspire to contribute to the process of shaping strategies and seeking new opportunities for the bank. In addition, I am keen on developing my knowledge in risk management techniques and pracitsing the use of statistical and mathematical models by applying my numerical skills. Meanwhile, I am willing to improve my analytical and quantitative skills through the learning process.
